Murphy, NC Performance Stage

The Town of Murphy desired to establish a project program for a performance stage, analyze two separate sites for the performance stage, complete a opinion of probable cost for each (OPC), make a selection for the proposed site, complete site survey and then full construction documents. The Farmer | Morgan team’s feasibility study evaluated two locations consisting of Konehete Veterans Park and Veterans Park. The Feasibility study used client preference criteria related to project programming for evaluation of each site. The Preference criteria was based on site analysis of both locations as well as the intended and selected project program, site conditions and construction phase cost estimates.

Farmer | Morgan produced one plan view for each site. This process developed the final project program, finalized the site location and provided conceptual renderings with a final (OPC) for both sites. In Addition, with providing the final (OPC), Farmer | Morgan progressed the project into the funding development phase.
