Assouad Residence

The master plan for the Assouad residence stemmed from the client’s need for additional outdoor living space around their home in Nashville, TN. The plan includes a three-car garage with additional guest parking, with an arbor connecting the garage both visually and spatially to the home. Around the front and east side of the home, a scored concrete terrace provides additional space for relaxation and socializing with guests. A large pool and jacuzzi are surrounded with a stone pool terrace to create a tranquil, private outdoor entertaining space. Around the back of the home, a stone walkway provides access to the rear of the home to be lined with lush green plantings to buffer the edge of the house. Large shade trees, evergreen shrubs, and seasonal color plantings around the property help integrate the home into its natural surroundings.
